LAB RESULTS
At Polaris Peptides USA, we recognize that the integrity of your research depends on the absolute purity and correct identification of the compounds you use. To ensure our catalog meets the “Gold Standard” of biochemical research, every batch undergoes a rigorous multi-stage testing protocol.
We provide transparent access to our Certificates of Analysis (COA) , including raw data from High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Mass Spectrometry (MS).
1. HPLC Analysis (Purity Verification)
High-Performance Liquid Chromatography is the industry standard for determining the chemical purity of a peptide. This process separates the primary peptide from any synthesis byproducts or residual solvents.
Our Standard: We guarantee a minimum purity of >99% for all research peptides.
The Chromatogram: A successful test is characterized by a single, sharp peak representing the target molecule, with negligible “noise” or secondary peaks.
2. Mass Spectrometry (Identity Confirmation)
While HPLC confirms purity, Mass Spectrometry (MS) verifies that the substance is exactly what it is claimed to be. By measuring the mass-to-charge ratio of the molecule, we confirm the precise molecular weight and amino acid sequence.
Our Standard: The measured molecular weight must align perfectly with the theoretical mass of the peptide sequence.
Sequence Integrity: This step ensures that no amino acids were omitted or incorrectly placed during the solid-phase synthesis process.
How to Access Your Lab Results
We maintain a database of results for every batch currently in distribution. To review the specific analysis for your material:
Locate the Batch Number: Found on the label of your peptide vial or the packing slip.
Request the COA: Email our technical support team at support@polarispeptidesusa.com with your batch number and order ID.
Download & Review: You will receive a PDF containing the HPLC and MS graphs along with the chemist’s verification signature.
Our Testing Partners
To eliminate any conflict of interest, Polaris Peptides USA utilizes independent third-party laboratories located within the United States. These facilities specialize in peptide analytical chemistry and operate under strict ISO standards to ensure unbiased and reproducible results.
Handling & Reconstitution for Optimal Results
Even the highest purity peptides can degrade if handled incorrectly. To preserve the results verified in our labs, please follow these standard protocols:
Storage: Keep lyophilized (powder) peptides at -20°C for long-term stability.
Reconstitution: Use only sterile or bacteriostatic water.
Avoid Agitation: When mixing, do not shake the vial. Gently swirl the solution to avoid mechanical denaturation of the peptide bonds.
